Bike riding along the Centennial trail

Updated: May 31, 2022

If you enjoy bike riding, there is an amazing fully paved riding trail very close to Ponderosa Place. It is called the Centennial trail and it starts in downtown Woodland Park.

The trail is a 14.8 mile loop starting in the town of Woodland Park and going up highway 67 to Manitou Lake. The trail is marked at each mile so it’s easy to keep track of how far you’ve gone.

The surroundings are beautiful with Mountain View’s, pine trees and aspens. You even go under a little bridge as you change sides of the road. The path is wide enough to easily pass others enjoying the trail.

There are a lot of hills and coming out of Woodland Park headed to Manitou Lake is easiest with much more downhill. The trail is overall easy, but the climb toward Woodland Park gives you a great workout.

Definitely ad this to your list if you love a good bike ride.
