Go Back in Time at the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center!

Updated: Apr 9, 2022

One of our favorite spots in Woodland Park is the Dinosaur Resource Center. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about dinosaurs. If your child loves dinosaurs, this place is a must to visit.

It is open 7 days a week throughout the year and admission is reasonable at $13 for an adult and $9 for children ages 5-12. Children 4 years and under are free. If you look online, you can often find coupons too.

The museum has several dinosaurs on display. There are a lot of hands on experiments that makes it nice for kids. The admission offers a one-hour tour included in the price, which I highly recommend as the staff members are so knowledgeable and we learn something cool every time. It is fascinating to me all the new info on dinosaurs from when I was in school.

There is a large gift shop that is nice to look around and you can even build your own dinosaur stuffed animal.

This museum is worth the trip and is truly a hidden gem in Woodland Park.
